A Weakened Mind

Watch your thoughts;They become words.

Watch you words;They become actions.

Watch your actions;They become habits.

Watch your habits;They become character.

Watch your character; It become your destiny.

Written by Mathew Naismith

A weakened mind is simply of a mind that is unaware of what is beyond the boundaries of the physical mind, it is also of a mind where the ego is in control even when beyond the perception of the boundaries of the physical mind. It is also of a collective mind that thinks it is beyond a consciousness that created nature. In a real sense, this consciousness cannot even simulate nature, it can only mimic nature at best.

Yes, science perceives how to create a universe, this of course is only copying nature, science is unable to create anything remotely novel that is not a simulation or copy of the original creation in some way. Imagine a universe created by science. Would the consciousness, if a consciousness could be implanted seen as we don't even know where consciousness came from to begin with, be as diverse as the universe we exist in? The implanted consciousness would only be of what is of the creator, very limited due to the lack of awareness.

So what consciousness is so many people today in awe of?

Look at all the power, control and physical wealth of multinationals, which could only come about due to abusing a less malign consciousness, a consciousness not entirely true to what created something like the universe and nature itself from scratch. There was nothing to mimic or simulate from, only an awareness far beyond human perception. A malign consciousness is simply a product of being less aware and quite naturally so. Yes, a malign consciousness is simply a creation of nature, a natural development of a consciousness being less aware.

Today, the observer just smiles at what less aware humans have created and are trying to create, however, the participator feels great anguish and distress at what this unaware consciousness is creating. It is funny, because multinationals are only simulating a malign consciousness while trying to act like some kind of deity. The observer just smiles.

To the participator, we are suffering big time but to the observer this suffering is of nothing real or of great importance, for what is of suffering is nothing to what is not suffering. Our suffering is like a grain of sand on the beach. So what would I know about suffering? I know as much about suffering as I do about not suffering, yes, I often smile at my own literal life long suffering when I am not participating in my suffering. For starters, I have literary had a broken arm since I was six years old, I also have at no point taken pain killers for any amount of time. Yes, my pain killer has been the ability to simply observe my own suffering.

“Suffering is something entirely different, however. Suffering is what we think of the pain, not the situation that caused the pain. Suffering is the emotional energy we invest in pain. Suffering is a choice. You might just read that last sentence a couple more times, as well. If it is a new concept, it might just change your approach to life. If you are in the habit of really getting in deep with your suffering, it will seem impossible that you could choose something otherwise. Suffering is simply our attachment to our pain, our ownership of and identification with it.”

Sorry, the blog doesn't seem have a language translator.

In a real sense, if you want to suffer from what the multinationals are creating at present, you will feel much greater pain than you have to. Make the best of life instead of the worse of life, however, a no time suffer from not being able to make the best of life either, you won't if you are participating for this is a part of being the participator. Yes, Yoga as whole, not just the exercises alone, teaches you to become the observer as many spiritual teachings do. You can see why the multinationals and communists alike desire to rid the world of any teachings that help is lessening the suffering through becoming the observer. I smile all the times I think of the observer, I just can't help it, very lucky me, but I also suffer from pain at times as this is a part of being a participator as well.

The induced suffering could push people's consciousness to become the observer, as many traumas can cause an awakening of some kind. The malign can interfere with the psychical mind, but the observing consciousness is unaffected, in a real sense.

Avoiding Suffering From The Truth

Written by Mathew Naismith

If we were truly aware, all we would do is laugh at our own and the collective human trauma we instil on ourselves. Yes, I even sit back in observation of my own participation and laugh, but at the same time being aware of why the human collective has become so engrossed in it's own participative traumas. In all, it is but a human experience.

Even within my 57 years, I have observed how our own human collective consciousness is even more today suffering from truths instead of learning from truths. We today don't chastise our children because it creates negativity, so we allow the children to grow up without responsible guidance. I have never seen in my life as I am today how the truth is judged negative, instead desired truths are seen far more positive because they are far more placid, even when of deliberate lies and deception. In my days growing up, part of our learned behaviour was to avoid abusive actions like lying and deceiving. To people like me, desired truths in opposition to actual truths, even when these truths are painful in their awakening, are far more constructive than destructive learned behavioural desired truths.

How often do we learn from what we simply judge as negative? A negative is simply an indication that we have not learnt from but instead still suffer from. To people like me, this human created reality of immense trauma of suffering and abuse is not even negative, simply an indication of a consciousness lost within it's own creation. So in today's spirituality, it is judged as being negative for calling out a person or even the collective consciousness for what it's expressing, even if this realisation may help this person or collective consciousness to overcome their own destructive tendencies.

Observe yourself or simply imagine awakening the collective consciousness to it's own created traumas. Is this honest caring action going to be seen by the collective consciousness as something positive? No. The reason for this lays in the learned behaviour of suffering from the truth instead of learning from the truth. Even within my short 57 years, I have seen the embracement of desired truths and the growing disdain for actual truths, mainly due to actual truths, like chastising children to create a more constructive learned behaviour, becoming a learned behavioural negative.

For something to be judged a negative is simply a sign of suffering instead of learning. Really, you cannot suffer from learning from trauma, from judged negativeness, you can only suffer from what you don't learn from. As soon as spiritually aware people talk of and avoid what they have judged as simply negative, people like me know this is a sign they are in all honesty still suffering from the truth, in the process replacing actual truths with desired truths.

I wrote the following separately to this post but realised it was of this post.

Proficient Mind

People like me love philosophising. To a lot of people, people into philosophy think more when in actuality it is the opposite.

Philosophy: The rational investigation of questions about existence and knowledge and ethics.

Any personal belief about how to live or how to deal with a situation.

It is not that philosophers think more, it is that philosophers think differently, imagine for one moment extracting irrational thinking from the mind!! You are actually thinking more proficiently and effectively because the philosophers mind has extracted irrational thinking from the mind to one extent or another. As present circumstances have proven, irrational thinking abounds in human consciousness, of course it is the irrational mind that is the easiest to scam and control!!

And yes, the irrational part of our minds often takes offence to what the rational part of our mind is thinking. Why? Because the rational mind is not of desired truths but of actual truths. Today, it is obvious that desired truths are far more desirable and acceptable than actual truths, to a philosopher, this is disheartening. Why is it disheartening? Because it is a sign we are becoming more irrational, cluttering our mind with irrational thinking instead of uncluttering our minds with rational thinking.

And yes, the irrational part of our mind will see the rational mind as being too busy and complicated when in actuality it is the other way around, for a very good reason, the thinking process becomes less cluttered therefore more proficient and effective for the rational mind. No, I am not totally proficient in thinking totally in the absence of irrationality, probably never will be and this is the actual truth rather than a desired truth.

The mind is only as proficient and effective as the environment the mind resides in........Mathew G

Yes, it would seem the irrational part of our mind will suffer the most because it learns the least from suffering and judged negatives. And yes, the irrational mind may feel good within it's desired truths, but this state has always been finite in nature!!

Focus on the Ego

Written by Mathew Naismith

Could you imagine someone being thankful for the pain they experience, most people would perceive that to be thankful for the pain they experience is of self-harm or even satanic. It is not the pain itself you become thankful for but in how you cope with pain.

In very recent times, my wife and I have been at the receiving end of a great deal of intentional abuse by a person who we thought was close to us. As it turned out, we were being abused for some years now by this person.

Intentional abuse is often build upon desired truths, lies and deceit, where unintentional abuse could be simply telling the truth in how it is, not how we would desire the truth to be told. Also, if a person is going through trauma and is abusive, this abuse is often unintentional, this is quite different to a person who desires to believe they are or where hard done by.  In this case the trauma experienced is fabricated, however, the trauma this fabrication creates is real, within their own sense.

My own ego was greatly hurt by what we experienced, but my wife was devastated which added to my own hurt. You must remember, only the ego can feel pain, yes, especially physical pain. The more pain we experience, the more the ego is in control so how can anyone be thankful for this but the ego in control? In our relation, if you hurt one, you hurt the other, even to a greater extent which this person has no idea of as their own life experiences are limited to their fabricated childhood traumas it would seem.

There are people who can mange physical pain, as I have myself done to a certain extent, to the extent that they feel no physical or mental pain. Your physical body and mind is a representation of ego, as of all motion is, this is why so many spiritual practices are about quietening the mind (motion). The human mind is all to do with motion therefore ego. By being thankful for pain is actually taking away a lot of the motion pain expresses. I am really thankful what pain has made me aware of, for I learn from life instead of suffering from life.

So what is actually doing the learning here? The ego of course, there is nothing else that has to become aware or learned. My own ego is thankful for the pain because I learn from the pain and not suffer from the pain. Yes, I still suffer from pain but end up learning from this pain. As for the person who intentionally abused us for so long, they have not learnt to not suffer from pain, in truth, exasperate this pain even further. Yes, they feel good in their abuse towards us, they feel they have won the day, but unknowingly to themselves, their real suffering has just begun.

Don't get me wrong, my ego is still bewildered at how the ego itself can be thankful for pain, but my ego is aware this is better than suffering from pain. As I have had a chronic injury since I was six years old, I know about physical and mental pain. I am so thankful for learning from all this pain instead of just simply suffering from all this pain, of course all this pain is simply only of the ego (motion), nothing else.

This will sound even stranger to a lot of people; I can even appreciate suffering from pain, for to not be appreciative of the suffering of pain is to suffer from pain!!

When the ego starts to learn from the suffering of pain, instead of suffering from the suffering of pain, is when the human ego has reached a certain point of conscious awareness beyond suffering. Of course trying to simply escape this pain in any sense is to still suffer from this pain. Pain must be embraced to move on from the suffering of pain, this is very important.

Because my wife and I are now to the point of not suffering the abuse of this person, we are at the point of learning from this abuse. Of course one of the lessons of learning from abuse is to not keep on suffering from abuse. You learn and move on from abuse, you don't stay with the abuse to be abused more, as the ego in control desires to do.

Yes, again you embrace pain, but this time not to suffer from pain but for your ego to learn from pain. "Pain is negatives therefore something to avoid at all cost."  Yes, avoid the suffering in the absence of learning from the suffering of pain, but don't avoid learning from the suffering of pain!!  So many are simply avoiding pain altogether, they will certainly avoid learning from the suffering of pain, so what was all this pain about?

When our ego starts to learn from suffering from pain, our consciousness enters into a new stage of awareness. If we continue to suffer from the suffering of pain, our consciousness will simply suffer instead of becoming aware. In other words our consciousness, our ego controlled consciousness, will not become enlightened but stay unenlightened.

Ego creates dense matter, as of the universe, which also creates a dense (dumb) mind/consciousness, consciousness of the ego that is unenlightened, unaware, until awakened. Remember, the only thing that can become aware or enlightened is the ego, so ignoring this because it is negative in any sense will do what? It certainly won't lead to enlightenment of a consciousness or ego.

Yes I know, if you harp on about or focus on the negatives, the ego, all you will do is manifest even more negatives!! If you focus on the suffering of pain and only suffer from this instead of learning from this, this is true, but if you learn from this suffering by not simply ignoring the negatives, a consciousness can't help but become more aware. You are not learning therefore becoming more aware if the ego is ignored because it is negative. This is why the ego needs to learn to embrace even the suffering of the ego, to finally let it all go. Simply ignoring the negative ego is only going the manifest more of what a negative ego creates, suffering from suffering.

Try to remember, it is only the ego that can become aware or enlightened, be it judged negative or positive, but of course only can the ego judge in negatives and positives thus creating more separation of consciousness energy.

Learning from Our Ignorance

Written by Mathew Naismith

Should we berate or hold our own selves to account, to the negatives, we have expressed in the past? This can be anything from saying the wrong thing that hurt other people, to not being loving enough and even showing disdain through judgement of other people. To be truly positive, or as I say constructive, the answer is too obvious, no, so why do so many people berate and even critically judge the present reality as being negative or even toxic?

To learn from our human ignorance, should we not learn from the past and present reality instead of continually suffer from it? To critically judge anything negative is to suffer from what we should instead be learning from. If I said the wrong thing at the wrong time to someone, is it constructive or positive to berate myself thus suffering from my own ignorance, this is instead of learning from my ignorance?

Once you start learning from ignorance/suffering, either that be indivisibly or collectively, it is impossible to judge this ignorance/suffering as being negative and especially toxic. So why are so many more people expressive of negatives and even toxic expressions in westernised spirituality today? Separation, a separation from what the individual or a group, as opposed to a collective, have deemed negative. As soon as someone expresses this that or the other is negative, especially toxic, I know within myself that they are still suffering from what they should in fact be learning from. In all honesty, anyone truly so-called positive/constructive person can be within any environment and still remain constructively expressional in the absence of any perceived negatives.

So what so many call positive and even spiritual today or of love and light, is of the ignorance of any judged negative or toxic environment, this is while being focused on separating ourselves from judged negatives and toxic environments!! In all honesty to oneself, we, ourselves, create what is negative and of a toxic environment when we persist in suffering from what we should in fact be learning from.

What is of the present is of the past, in that the past is still of the present. If we learnt from the past instead of suffering from the past, there is no way we could critically judged the past, which is of the present still, negative and especially of a toxic environment. The past is still of our present reality because we still haven't learnt to learn from our past, we still call the past that created the present reality negative and even toxic!! Is this in all honesty being constructive/positive? We even call being in the absence of negatives and toxic environments being spiritual, all else not spiritual!! A truly aware soul in the first place has nothing to be in the absence of to be constructive or spiritual to start with.

The question is now, should we stay within an environment that seemingly will always suffer from an environment instead of learning from an environment?

I have personally extracted myself from certain kinds of environments, to assist in environments that wants to learn instead of suffer from an environment. Also, once you have learnt from an environment, move on to another environment even if the environment seems negative to you. In all honesty, if it seems negative to you, you have something to learn from it.

A consciousness that doesn't learn from their environment isn't negative or toxic, just ignorant or unaware of how to learn from an environment, a consciousness simply lost within its own creation........

For Only Our Ego's Suffer

Written by Mathew Naismith

What if I stated that if we were all enlightened beings, not one of us would think twice of experiencing this reality again no matter what our experiences were!! In all honesty, the ego in control would refute this to the bitter end, why? What doesn't serve the control the ego desires to obtain and retain over it's self and its environment, will be dismissed or deemed a negative one must stay away from to gain or retain control. Of course an ego that isn't about obtaining and retaining control is a different matter.

How many of us deem spiritual, physical and mental peek proficiency as an ultimate state of being? What if I stated that being spiritual doesn't mean one is enlightened!! Being spiritual is simply the acknowledgment of a non-material existence from the acknowledgment of a material existence. In truth, Buddha experienced his enlightenment while at he's lowest level of physical and mental proficiency as of many who have become enlightened. Through this enlightenment, one then realises that a balance between the non-material and the material world is a far wiser way to exist, however, to realise this one must first suffer.

In truth, the only part of us suffering is the ego, of course there is also a difference between suffering from the egos suffering and learning from the egos suffering. Enlightenment simply comes from learning from the egos suffering. Enlightenment is simply all about letting go of the ego, especially of the controlling ways of the ego. The more our egos suffer, the more our egos were in control. Yes, this means that everyone's ego will suffer differently, of course on top of this, some ego's will still suffer from it's own suffering through the unwillingness by the ego to let go of it's control. The ego in this case will suffer to the bitter end and quite expectantly in the views of the enlightened.

I should point out that the first line of my post, "What if I stated that if we were all enlightened beings, not one of us would think twice of experiencing this reality again no matter what our experiences were!!", is of my own recollection and awareness. What you become aware of in the absence of a controlling ego is quite amazing. Of course what you become aware of in the absence of an ego altogether would be totally amazing to say the least.

As I ponder about my aimless life wonderings with no intentions or expectations, I realise I am drifting upon a water so clear that my reflection depicts the environment I am adrift upon. In the absence negatives and positives, good and bad, right and wrong, the waters I am adrift upon are so clear.....Mathew G

Passion of the Eastern Mind

Written by Mathew Naismith

William Shakespeare's, "To be, or not to be: that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;"

A Western minds dramatisation of life; to go on suffering or to cease the suffering by death or to cause death onto what is causing the suffering, in actuality it's the same thing. To abandon life and human existence for a better existence is the death of suffering; of course it is well known to the Eastern mind we cause our own suffering. To commit suicide or to cause the death to what is causing the suffering is the same thing. So to desire to create a better existence than an existence of suffering is suicidal; for one has to cause death onto one's own dramatisation of suffering, we would in fact kill a part of ourselves off. Is this the answer?

The answer to the Western mind is to separate itself from what it no longer desires to be a part of, to separate itself from the undesired for the desired. The desired is to suffer no more, even though to stop suffering one has to commit suicide, to cause death to what is causing the suffering which is ourselves. In a reality of variable polarities, we have a choice to either suffer with these variables, thus focus on suffering, or to let these variables pass without attaching ourselves to the suffering they may or may not create. To be, or not to be!!

So how does this help the people who are really suffering, the victims of war and civilian depravation? As I have done myself, you stop focusing on the suffering of variables for the only part of us that is able to suffer is the ego. The more the ego is in control, the more suffering we will suffer with thus creating a world that is destructive onto itself and chaotic within  it's environment. Yes, our environment, in actuality the universe itself, can be destructive and chaotic but as of ourselves it can also be constructive and passive.

I came across something recently I found interesting, the first part is my reply to what I found so interesting. A heavenly state of being is simply a state where the ego has no control; even in an existence of opposing variables this state is accessible to us.
___________________________

Very well articulated. It's not easy for the Western mind to comprehend what is written here sunday ivy.

The reason for this is the lack of control as the Western mind in all of us desires control. To control takes the abuse of energy, be it physical and/or mental. What will be will be is not acceptable to the Western mind in any of us.

Is it a wonderful life no matter what goes on? It is what it is as man is no more destructive or chaotic than the natural environment can be, however, we can also be as constructive and passive as the natural environment can be as well, the choice is ours.

The Western mind in all of us needs more of this, in my mind anyway.

Persistent Motivation Comes from the Longing and Pursuit of a Wonderful Life

Xuefeng
(Translated by Tongxin and Edited by Kaer)

What promotes everyone to live day by day?

It is the Tathaga (nature) which has been the designed program ever since LIFE was originally created during the beginning of creation. For each LIFE, whether they like it or not, must run around in circles to survive for several decades after being born, and this is not controllable by anyone. As people, we must run around solving the problems of eating, clothing, shelter, transportation, birth, aging, sickness, and death, although these are reluctant choices which lead to tragic lives.

These are reluctant and tragic lives within the realms of necessity. If people cannot escape from the bondages of the realms of necessity, then no matter how they may live, trouble, pain, worry, anxiety, and fear will follow them forever. Life will rise and fall, set in sorrow and joy, and bloom and fade like flowers, until one reincarnation of LIFE is finished and a new one begins anew.

Coming back to the original point, after several years, many decades, or even centuries, these are the reincarnations of the realm of necessity. If we do not escape from the bondage of the realm of necessity and enter into the realm of freedom, then whatever we do and however glorious a state we can reach, everything is as futile and transitory as passing clouds. Nothing is worthy of being pursued or owned.

Although the road leading forward is tortuous, it is only by targeting an eternal direction and goal and by walking firmly towards it, that we can ever hope to walk out of the realm of necessity, out of the rises and falls, and out of the reincarnations of life, that we might taste and enjoy the scenery and joys along the road.

Everything we pursue and own in the human world will eventually melt into emptiness or burst like bubbles. They are absolutely illusions and dreams. If everything in the human world eventually disappears, then what is worthy of being pursued? What is worthy of being owned? What is worthy of being strived for by consuming the energy of LIFE?

Either swim with the tide and do not care about truth or falsehood, sincerity or deception, beauty or ugliness, kindness or cruelty, good or evil, or what is yours or mine, because everything will disappear into silence when one eventually disappears from the world; or move forward, firmly toward the realm of freedom which exceeds this human world, and exceeds space and time.

Where is the realm of freedom? Where is the way leading to the realm of freedom?

The human world is not the realm of freedom because our bodies push us to run for survival. The realm of freedom is heaven, and the ultimate realm of freedom is the Celestial Islands Continent of the Elysium World.

The road leading to the realm of freedom is the longing and pursuit of a wonderful life, and this is the source of persistent motivation.

What are wonderful lives?

They are states of no death, no pain and sorrow, no worry and fear, no trouble and misfortune, and no fighting and deprivation, but there is always joy, happiness, sunny life like beautiful springs, eternally green mountains and clear rivers, and one has the freedom to do whatever they want to do forever. What is fortunate is that we have found the way that directs us forward to the realm of freedom in which a broad, beautiful world is already waiting for us. The question is how can we reach it? Can we keep going? Did we delay too much on the road, feel powerless like sighing before the sea, and get pulled back into the realm of necessity because of sluggishness?

So many people have fallen down because they lost, do you still have the motivation to move ahead?

As long as you strive for and pursue the good life continuously, you will have persistent motivation, and can overcome all difficulties and finally reach the destination. But if your pursuit and longing are reduced or stopped, then you will stay in the same place and miss your opportunity to enjoy a truly beautiful life.
